MPC Corporate Advisory was established in 2010. Previously, Greg MacLeod and Julian Cooper were partners of MPC Partners which was established in 1994. Julian and Greg each have more than 25 years experience of working with distressed situations covering the UK recession of the late 1988-93, the Asia crisis of 1997-99, the TMT/dotcom crisis of 2002 and more recently, the GFC of 2008-09.
Our track record in the turnaround and restructuring arena has been recognised by leading blue chip institutions who have worked with us since we first started out in 1994. Our accumulated experience covers every aspect of restructuring.
We have worked with:
- Companies in the UK, US, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Africa, Asia and Australia;
- In sizes ranging from £10m turnover to £1.5bn;
- With indebtedness £5m to £500m, and total invested capital much larger;
- With listed, institutional private equity backed and owner-managed businesses; and
- In industries including media, energy, business services, engineering/manufacturing, distribution, financial services, transport, technology and hospitality.
